Client Spotlight: Isabella's Self Love Shoot

When we shot together, she was just days away from moving to Melbourne for uni, and the energy was electric. That mix of nerves, excitement, and the thrill of the unknown. We talked about everything - her plans, her excitement, and that classic moving-to-a-new-city chaos. But one thing that really stuck with me was our chat about jumping at opportunities.

Isabella told me about finding a great place to rent down in Melbourne and how, instead of second-guessing or comparing, she just went for it. And honestly? That’s the kind of energy I love. Sometimes, life throws something great your way, and if you pause too long, you might miss it. We both agreed - when something feels right, and you've got the means, grab it with both hands and run.

And that’s exactly what we did with this shoot, too. We leaned into movement, into play, into going for it. Isabella grew up dancing, and the moment she mentioned it, I knew we had to bring that into the shoot. So we twirled, stretched, and let the motion tell the story. It was effortless, full of energy, and so much fun.

You could feel it in the images: the joy, the anticipation, the confidence in moving forward. I especially love Isabella's confidence and how this flows through into the images.

I loved being able to create imagery that truly represents her and her passions - that's what a self love shoot is really about. We encouraged her dancing past to shine through in these images, having fun with movement and showcasing her personality.

So here’s to Isabella - to dancing through life’s big changes, to taking chances, and to saying yes to the opportunities that set your soul on fire. Melbourne is so lucky to have her.
